I am interested in the measurement, design and implementation of large-scale networked and distributed systems.

Lately, I've been driving efforts to simplify cluster management systems using declarative programming. As an example of what our tool can do, we can generate the core scheduling logic in Kubernetes from a high-level spec written using SQL. Check it out on Github!

You can find a more up-to-date listing of my projects and publications here.

Prior to my current position, I was a PhD student at TU-Berlin, where I was advised by Prof. Anja Feldmann and Prof. Marco Canini. Before my PhD, I obtained a joint Masters degree in distributed computing from KTH, Stockholm and IST, Lisbon in June 2012.
