Hillview

Summary

The goal of the Hillview project is to build a set of tools for browsing and performing simple data exploration over large datasets — a spreadsheet for billion-row datasets. The emphasis of the system is on interactive exploration (short response times) and ease of use, with a gentle learning curve. Most of the interaction with the data is done through GUI operations (rather than writing programs and queries).
